Priyanka Chopra Joins Oprah Winfrey & Meryl Streep on '50 Most Powerful Women in Entertainment' List.


A global superstar in every sense, Priyanka Chopra is creating waves across the world. Whether it's her work in Indian film industry, Hollywood or American television or her sartorial fashion choices - PC never fails to impress her ardent fan followers across the world. Adding another feather to her cap, Priyanka has now been named as one of the '50 most powerful women in entertainment' in USA Today's power icons list. Priyanka features on the list alongside the likes of other powerful women including Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, Ellen De Generes, Jennifer Lawrence, Tina Fey, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon. In a recent interview, Priyanka opened up about featuring on the esteemed list of powerful women. Priyanka has been quoted as saying, "Power is the ability to open doors, and turn my dreams into a reality of what I was destined to do. I feel privileged to share this platform with these amazing women who have each pushed through their own challenges and created their own realities and today stand shoulders above everyone in their chosen careers. It does give one a feeling of achievement.” On the film front, Priyanka's Valentine's Day release, Isn't It Romantic, opened to mixed reviews in the West and back home, she will star in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink alongside Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. RERUN _ POLLS: COME OUT, VOTE LEADERS OF YOUR CHOICE, BUHARI TELLS NIGERIANS.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday night, asked Nigerians to come out in large numbers to cast their ballots in today’s supplementary elections. Elections will be in 17 states today, including the rerun governorship polls. The President also denied that he had anointed candidates he was working for to win the elections by all means. In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu, the President thanked Nigerians for re-electing him. He appealed to them to show the same enthusiasm by coming out on Saturday to vote in the supplementary elections.
