This is to inform all fresh student that their orientation session is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 3rd of April and Thursday, 4th of April at the Main Auditorium....All fresh men are expected to be seated at the venue by 9am on each day of the programme.

Note that Wednesday, 3rd of April and Thursday 4th of April are lecture free days for fresh students.

19 STUDENTS COMMITS SUICIDE FOR FAILING EXAMS

No fewer than 19 students in India’s Telangana state are thought to have committed suicide, after failing school final examinations, officials and news reports said on Thursday. Parents and students have been protesting across the state since the results of the Intermediate Examination for students of the two senior most grades were announced on April 18. Out of the 974,000 students, who appeared for the Intermediate Exam, a total of 328,000 failed, Telenga Chief Minister, Chandrasekhar Rao, said in a statement. He has set up a three-member panel to probe conduct and assessment of answer papers. “There have been a spate of suicides which, on preliminary investigations, are linked to the examination results,’’ Senior Police Official, Shika Goel, said. SEVEN DIES A TRUCK PLUNGES INTO KOGI RIVER.

Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Tuesday said seven people lost their lives after a truck in which they were travelling plunged into a river at Kotonkarfe on Lokoja-Abuja Highway. Sector Commander in Kogi, Emmanuel Abe, said that the truck plunged into Enyogi River, at about 5.00a.m. He said 37 people were involved in the accident, adding that many others sustained various degrees of injury. According to him, both the injured and dead were taken to the Federal Medical Centre and the Kogi State Specialist Hospital, both in Lokoja. Abe said that speeding was the immediate cause of the accident, appealing to motorists to abide by the speed limit rule. May their Perfect Souls Rest In Peace, Amen. KYLEOIVREPORTS .
